Our Mission

At Super NoVA Eggs, our mission is to produce exceptional eggs through pasture-raised, regenerative farming practices that prioritize the health of our hens, our land, and our community.

We believe truly great eggs start with happy, healthy hens. Our flocks are raised on open pasture with access to fresh air, sunshine, and space to roam, forage, and express natural behaviors. By managing our land regeneratively, we work to improve soil health, support biodiversity, and create a resilient farm ecosystem that benefits both animals and the environment.

Every decision we make — from how our hens are raised to how our pastures are managed — is guided by care, integrity, and respect for natural systems. The result is eggs that are not only fresher and more flavorful, but also responsibly produced and deeply connected to the land they come from.

At Super NoVA Eggs, pasture isn’t a buzzword — it’s the foundation of everything we do.

Meet The Founders

Super NoVA Eggs was founded by Ashley and Amanda, two women whose friendship and partnership grew from working side by side in the fields.

They met at Gathering Springs Farm while learning, volunteering, and immersing themselves in pasture-based farming. What began as shared workdays and conversations about soil, animals, and food systems quickly became a deeper connection rooted in mutual respect, curiosity, and a desire to do agriculture thoughtfully and responsibly.

From the beginning, Ashley and Amanda believed that great eggs start with great care, for the hens, the land, and the broader farming community. That belief continues to shape everything they do at Super NoVA Eggs, from regenerative pasture management to daily animal care.

Both founders are deeply committed to giving back to the farming community that helped shape them. They actively volunteer with Fauquier Education Farm, supporting hands-on agricultural education, farmer training, and experiential learning for both kids and adults. They also volunteer with Hands on Harvest, working directly to support food access efforts and ensure fresh, local food reaches those who need it most. This work is not abstract or distant, it’s hands-in-the-soil, boots-on-the-ground service that reflects their belief that farming should strengthen communities, not just businesses.

Ashley and Amanda credit much of their growth to incredible mentors along the way, including Jim at the Education Farm and Pam and Sarah of Gathering Springs, whose guidance helped them refine their practices and gain confidence as farmers. They’re equally grateful for the unwavering support of their husbands, Mahesh and Brian, who have been part of every early morning, late night, and farm decision.

Super NoVA Eggs is very much a family-and-community operation. You’ll often find Charlotte, the farm’s tiniest “intern,” nearby, along with Rosie and Chewy, the farm dogs who have become best friends right alongside their humans.

At its core, Super NoVA Eggs is built on shared values: stewardship of the land, respect for animals, service to the community, and the belief that good food should be raised with care and intention. Ashley and Amanda are proud to be growing eggs for Northern Virginia and honored to be part of a farming community that leads with generosity, education, and integrity.
